About Sartaj

Sartaj is an operator and leadership advisor, with extensive experience in growth, business transformations, and change management—gained through his career chapters in leadership development, portfolio company oversight, transformation consulting, turnaround management, and entrepreneurship.
Presently, he serves as an Executive Coach, Advisor, and Facilitator for leadership development engagements at high-performing organizations. He is the founder of an organizational effectiveness and performance practice focused on team and executive development and capability-building—through coaching, advisory, facilitation, and instruction.
Leadership Development
As an Executive Coach, Sartaj partners with senior executives to define their leadership vision, embrace growth opportunities, and navigate change. As an Executive Advisor, he partners with senior executives by providing actionable approaches to specific professional challenges or sharing best practices. As a Facilitator, he delivers interactive workshops—or masterclasses—that dive into the domains of Communication & Relationships, People Leadership, Personal Leadership, and Problem-Solving & Executive Synthesis.
Portfolio Company Oversight
Sartaj served as Head of Organizational Health at Teamshares, a mission-driven company that addresses wealth inequality by buying successful small businesses from retiring owners and transitioning them to employee ownership. As needed, he stepped in as interim president of a business ahead of transitioning it to a full-time leader.
Transformation Consulting
Previously, Sartaj was a Consultant in McKinsey's Transformation practice—focused on driving holistic performance improvement for organizations across industries. In that capacity, he partnered with clients to not only impact operations, but importantly the mindsets and capabilities needed to sustain change.
Turnaround Management and Entrepreneurship
Prior to consulting, Sartaj led an investor-backed turnaround of a niche manufacturer of critical communications systems for global aviation, maritime, and peacekeeping organizations. He has additionally founded, grown, and transitioned two healthcare ventures in patient monitoring and medical supply chain.
Credentials
Sartaj is an accredited ICF Coach and holds an Executive Certificate in Leadership Coaching from Georgetown University, an MBA from INSEAD, and a BS in International Economics from the Georgetown University School of Foreign Service. He has experience in over 70 countries, across the US, Latin America, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
